Coltrane cutout boots - Jeffrey Campbell

20120929

Everyone please say hello to my new babies. I've seen these boots all over tumblr and instagram and have been dying to get my hands on them, and soon I will be able to! I ordered these puppies yesterday from NASTYGAL.com and can hardly wait to get them and wear them!

So lately I've noticed that 'denim on denim' is very popular now. I've seen it worn by numerous celebrities and I've seen it on sites like NASTY GAL. I really like this look, it's casual, it's cool, and it's fun! Rocking my favorite JEFFREY CAMPBELL heels with this outfit because I feel like it gives the outfit a little pop. Who says you can't wear too much denim?! (Well only if you style it right!)

ZARA top 9 shorts JEFFREY CAMPBELL heels TOWN SHOES clutch

With this outfit I really wanted the shorts and clutch to be the main focus, so I kept the shoes and top black. The top I got from ZARA and I really like how it's both hard and soft at the same time. Leather and lace look great together! The shorts I got from the Aritzia Wearhouse Sale and I love the vibrant blue colour and the tribal inspired print on them. I actually wore the clutch to my prom so I'm really glad I was able to get more use out of it then just for prom. I think the fact that it's not a typical 'prom' clutch makes it more versatile and the skulls definitely make it on point in terms of 'what's in style'.

Sabo Skirt: new purchases!

Since I found out that SABO SKIRT has really cheap shipping ($5!!!), I decided I may as well do some shopping, why not! I bought this really pretty playsuit, I just love the minty colour of it and I love how there's a little peeka-a-boo at the back. I have been wanting some sort of bracelet cuff and figured that crosses are really 'in style' now a days, so I decided to buy this cross cuff, and it was so cheap! And lastly, this claw ring is TO DIE FOR. Absolutely in love with my purchases, can hardly wait to receive them! BY THE WAY if you guys want to get the $5 shipping as well hurry fast because it's only on for 5 days!

(All photos are from the SABO SKIRT online store.)

Nails!

20120923

I decided my nails needed a little more attention they have been getting lately. The shape of my actual nails are never perfect and they break so easily so I decided to put on fake nails and then paint them the color I want. The fake nails are from NAILENE and I painted my nails using this nailpolish by ILLAMASQUA that I got from Sephora. The sparkly nailpolish is by NAILS INC. LONDON that I got from Shoppers Drug Mart. I love my nails!

I took these photos off my iPhone so therefore these aren't the best quality photos, but I just wanted to show off the outfit I had on Tuesday. I think its an edgier take on a 'casual' look. I wish I had the opportunity to wear out! Hopefully I will soon...

So yesterday I showed you guys a pic off my iPhone of my outfit from the Aritzia Wearhouse Sale. Today I decided to put the outfit on again and actually take pics. I had purchased the jacket and scarf in Serbia and really love them. The jacket is technically like a shirt but I decided I'd wear it more like a jacket. There was an actual jacket similar to this, but I preferred this shirt and bought it instead. I had been wanting a scarf with skulls on it for a really long time. Ever since Alexandar McQueen came out with their famous skulled scarfs, I told myself I'd have to have it!(Or at least something a little more afordable.) I liked the jeweled detail on some of the skulls, I think it makes it unique!

Aritzia Wearhouse Sale

COSABELLA lace bra 9 shorts WILFRED top&dress

Yesterday there was an Artiztia Wearhouse Sale at the Canada Place Convetion Centre, and I just couldn't miss it! Personally, I found that most of the things that were set out I had never even seen in an Aritzia store itself. The prices were ok, yes there were big discounts but still, not amazing prices that make you want to run around the block jumping for joy. The whole place was very large and over-whelming and I was extremely exhausted by the end, I didn't even try anything on! Luckily everything fit, thank God! But pretty much every rack had the same things and everything was so scattered and messy, it gave me a headache. I didn't leave empty-handed though! I bought this lace bra, which I have been searching for forever, printed shorts, tan-colored top and this cute open-back dress. I am pleased with my purchases but it was definitely not cheap. Considering Aritzia's absurd prices, I came home with more things for the price then I usually would if I shopped at the actual store.

I took the last picture before I left of my outfit. I bought the jacket and scarf from ZARA when I went to Serbia. I just wanted to say, I noticed that things are a lot cheaper from Zara in Serbia then they are in Canada... Hmm, strange! It's probably because the Canadian Dollar is standing so well. But atleast I snagged them for cheaper, hehe!
